| A Private Message, also known as a PM for short, is a message that you can send to another
member which only that member can read. The purpose of this is to
provide a means of internal communication similar to email for those
that do not want to reveal their email addresses. To send a private
message to someone, just click the Send Private Msg link that often appears underneath a user's name or on their profile. New messages will appear in your Inbox. You can check your inbox by clicking on the Inbox link at the top of the page when logged in. If you have Email Notifications turned on, you will receive an email when you have new messages in your inbox. |
